Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel an order before it ships, and your statutory right of withdrawal after delivery.

1. Cancelling before dispatch

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation.

If you wish to cancel, email support@cosavia.com as soon as possible with your order number and the word "cancellation" in the subject line.

  • If your order has not yet been dispatched, we cancel it and refund you in full, to your original payment method, within 14 days.
  • If your order has already been dispatched, we cannot recall it. You may instead exercise your right of withdrawal once it is delivered (section 2), or refuse the parcel at delivery.

2. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under articles L.221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from the day you (or a third party you designate) take physical possession of the goods to withdraw from your purchase, without giving any reason and without penalty.

Where an order is delivered in several parcels, the 14-day period runs from receipt of the last item.

How to withdraw

Notify us of your decision by an unambiguous statement before the 14-day period expires. Either:

Returning the goods

After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days to:

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend a tracked service — you remain responsible for the parcel until it reaches us.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refund

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard outbound delivery cost, within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal.

If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard option, we refund only the cost of our standard option.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you supply evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. You incur no fee as a result of the refund.

3. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, nor to goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, in accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

4. Relationship to our commercial returns policy

The 14-day statutory right of withdrawal above is your legal minimum. We voluntarily offer a longer 30-day commercial return window, described in our Exchanges, Returns & Refund Policy. The commercial window does not replace or reduce your statutory rights.
